Football and Rugby
Within the Air Cadet Organisation, male cadets are able to participate in both Rugby and Football at Inter-Wing level after attending a Wing trials activity and being selected to be part of the team. Cadets who represent their Wing can also be selected to represent their region at inter-Region tournaments and potetntially be selected to be part of the corps team in the inter-services competition.

There are also inter-squadron 5-a-side competitions that male and female cadets can participate in.

Hockey and Netball
Within the Air Cadet Organisation, female cadets are able to participate in both Hockey and Netball at Inter-Wing level after attending a Wing trials activity and being selected to be part of the team. Cadets who represent their Wing can also be selected to represent their region at inter-Region tournaments and potetntially be selected to be part of the corps team in the inter-services competition.
Swimming
Each Wing normally holds an inter-Squadron swimming tournament, where the winners of each of the events will be selected to go on and represent their Wing at the inter-Wing competition. Events include Breaststroke, Backstroke, Freestyle, Butterfly, Individual Medley Relay and team relays.
Athletics
Each Wing holds an inter-Squadron athletics tournament, where the winners of each of the events will be selected to go on and represent their Wing at the inter-Wing competition. Events include Long-Jump, High-Jump, Javelin, Discus, Shot-Putt, 100M, 200M, 400M, 800M, 1500M and 100M relay.
Cross Country
Male and Female cadets can take part in inter-Squadron cross-country competitions. Male and Female cadets compete in different age and gender classes, but run over the same distance. Class winners will be selected to run in the inter-Wing competition.
Ten-Pin Bowling
Many Wings hold an inter-Squadron 10-Pin Bowling competitions for both Male and Female cadets.
Medals and Sporting Blues
In Cross-Country, Swimming and Athleticss sporting competitions, medals are normally awards for the frst three places in each competition class. Cadets who are selected to represent Wing, Region or the Corps will receive the respective sporting blue of their initial representation.
